The apartment, located in the central of Penang, which is shared by a couple and their young child. The challenge of this project is to use a monochromatic palette and limited selection of materials to create a minimal interior. Using a combination of black, white and grey is the key to creating a calm and restful retreat as well as having low lighting throughout the entire house. So we try to create the design with clean lines and subtle details, provide a backdrop rather than spectacles. The focal point of the entire living area features the display cabinet that includes two display shelving, as well as plenty of island space to entertain. Having the light box display cabinet adds a touch of glamour to the space.
